Urban Motors has taken care of an improvement package for the plugin hybrid version of the Golf 8.
For starters, this Golf GTE got a set of 20inch black and blue Barracuda Project 3.0 wheels from the Ultralight Series (8.5 × 20), Continental Sport Contact 6 tires (235/35) and decorative side graphics.
In addition, there are modified KW Variant 3 suspension (the car is lower by 45 mm), as well as improved handling.The propulsion system has not undergone changes, so the Golf GTE still
combines a 1.4liter gasoline engine and an electric motor with a total of 245HP and 400 Nm of torque.
The package also includes 13 kWh batteries, and it is also possible to drive in electric mode when the car covers about 60 km.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 6.7 seconds, while top speed is 225 km / h.
