Both Demons are privately owned, brand new and barely have any miles on them. Neither driver used the Transbrake feature of the Demon (should be worth a tenth), and both cars were hot lapped as they ran in other classes. In addition, the weather was terrible for drag racing (hot, humid, high DA +1800), but it affected both cars equally.
The Demon’s 6.2L Supercharged V8 makes 840 Horsepower and 770 lb-ft of Torque and is backed by an 8 speed automatic transmission.
Track prep was amazing and handled by Brandon and the team of Mass Traction http://masstraction.com/
Just imagine what the Demon will run in good cool air using the TransBrake. Tell us what you think about the Demon below.
