New Alfa Romeo Giulietta at the end of 2019

In the autumn next year, the next generation of Alfa Romeo Giulietta is expected. The still-present model (Tipo 940) was introduced in 2010 and showed convincing properties on the test.

It’s also available in sports versions, but it’s been a long time on the market. So, the new Giulietta is expected in about a year and will be a shorter version of the new, reputable Giulia model.

The first illustration, brought by Autozeitung.de, in slightly increased dimensions of the current model will be more attractive and ‘sharper’. And the new Italian trumpeter will show that those who predicted the end of the diesel vehicle have been recalculated.

Namely, the gasoline engine will be a turbo 2.0 liter 200 hp direct injection engine, but the main market will be the 2.2 JTDM turbodiesel, which will be offered in four power levels: 136, 150, 180 and 210 hp. Because they will use the shortened Giulia platform, there will be room for the V6 engine.

With this twin-turbopropic drive, the sensation will be a top-gun Quadrifoglio Verde model with as much as 333 hp and a 4×4 (Q4) drive. It will be ‘penicillin’ for Golf R, Civic Type R & Co.
