Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio already in stock form is seriously impressive performance machine. Its mighty Ferrari derived, 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 delivers 510 hp and 600 Nm (440 lb-ft) of torque. But the owners can now further enhance the performance of the sedan with a power upgrade kit, from the German tuner Pogea Racing.
The power boost comes from an custom ECU upgrade, taking the output to 577 hp and 733Nm. According to the company the power was set to only DYNAMIC mode, while the custom mapping for the other modes is also possible.
Pogea Racing also says that also possible is to change the opening and closing of the exhaust valves for the Dynamic mode and their software allows to keep the valves constantly open while dynamic mode. The package can be 100% applied on the new SUV Stelvio.
The brief statement does not contain any performance figures, but it’s expected to surpass the standard Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, which sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds.
