Bobas VW Golf Mk2 pulls amazing 8,69 seconds quarter mile.
At the heart of this beast is turbocharged 2.0-liter 16V gasoline engine, which has been boosted to astonishing 1233 HP and 1094 Nm of torque. These figures are obtained thanks to the new turbocharger from extreme Tuners, NG-Motorsports CNC cylinder head porting and Don Octane 6 speed dog ring Transmission. It’s enough to push the hatch from rest to 100km/h in 2.53 seconds, while the quarter mile is achieved in 8,69 seconds at 273 kph.
Also impressive is acceleration from 100-200 km/h in 3,16 sec, the 200 to 250 km/h acceleration in 1.98 seconds, and the 200-270km/h in 3,0 seconds. The car weighs 1180kg (2601lbs) and has a top speed of 350+km/h.
The most interesting is that this Golf by anything does not expose what kind of a monster hides under the hood – everything is stock, from the look of the exterior up to the interior (seats, steering wheel, door panels).
